Big rock, long carry from where it landed
Our lot above the Clearwater River near Kamiah drops off fast toward the water, and the erosion along the bank had gotten worse every spring for years. Ten tons of large river rock was the fix, stacked to break up the flow where runoff comes off the hillside. The delivery truck couldn't get down our steep gravel lane safely, so the driver dumped it at the top by the county road instead of near the bank.
