One load wetter than the other
We use the three eighths crushed stone as chip seal cover on two private roads out toward American Falls where the county won't touch the surface. Ordered eighteen tons for two jobs back to back this summer, and Idaho Rock Supply got both loads out inside the same week we called, which matters when you are chasing a paving crew's schedule. Only issue was the first load came noticeably wetter than the second, like it had sat under a tarp after a storm, and it clumped instead of spreading evenly off the tailgate spreader until it dried out some in the sun. It set up fine once it dried.

Solid bedding under the flagstone
Laid a flagstone walkway from the driveway to the front door for a client in Hayden and used the three eighths crushed stone as the bedding layer under each stone.
